How to do the Laura Linney Hair do

Laura Linney was born on February 5, 1964 in New York City. She graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon School in 1982before going to Northwestern University. After that she made her way to Brown University and then went on to study acting at the famous Julliard School.


She started the 1990s appearing in a few films such as Dave. The miniseries Tales of the City brought her much attention and she began having important roles in big movies such as Congo, and Primal Fear. Her really big break though was playing Jim Carrey’s wife in The Truman Show. She has been nominated for four Academy Awards in total. The Do
The timeless look that Laura Linney wore at the 80th Academy Awards ceremony was sophisticated and proved that she is absolutely full of grace. To begin styling this look, apply a volumizing mousse or gel throughout the entire hair. Do not part the hair anywhere as this will detract from the volume of the hairdo. While you are blow-drying the hair, pull the hair up with a round, flat brush and focus the hot air towards the roots. This hair does need a bit of wave so you can either place the hair around large rollers to achieve the wave and pick random pieces of hair to curl with a wave attachment of a curling iron.

Who’s It For?
This hair definitely needs some length on it as the drama of the look lies in the fact that it is so big and encompasses the entire face and down the shoulders. It will look best on faces that are long or oval. Full faces will probably not work as well with this hairstyle. There will be too much volume with the face shape and the amount of hair combined but a narrower face will definitely be a nice contrast.

Treatments
Two-tone highlights will work very well with this look as there is so much hair to look at and the highlights will really stand out. Other than that, the only treatment that is necessary is some of the volumizing gel or mousse.

Finishing
Simply finish off by spraying a styling spray around the entire hair area, focusing on the roots to make it stand up even more.

Laser hair removal is a permanent hair removal process.
It is more costly and takes several treatments, usually between 4-6 treatments.

Treatments will be between 6-10 weeks apart from one another. Depending on the area you are getting lasered it can take anywhere from 15 – 60 min per area. Laser hair removal is a treatment that uses a constant heat source and light beam to target the hair follicle. As the laser goes over the skin the light is attracted to the dark root. The laser will penetrate the hair and kill it at the root.

Jepjep, viime lauantaina oli siis GAL meetup kakkonen! Se ei kyllä tosiaankaan ollut ihan mun päiväni.. Oli kyllä pahin bad day hetkeen ja muutenkin oikein vuosisadan bad hair ja bad face day.. ;''D Siis miitti oli tosi kiva, siinä ei ollut mitään vikaa ja kiitti kaikille, jotka jutteli tai joiden kaa hengailin ja pahoittelut, että olin vähän blaaah XD No kuitenkin itse päivän kulusta.. Nukuin edeltävänä yönä tosi huonosti, joten aamulla oli kamalan väsy eikä oikein jaksanut mikään innostaa. Silloin oli jo sellanen olo, että ei, tästä ei nyt kyllä tuu mitään mut en nyt halunnut miittiäkään jättää väliin niin pakolla sitten oli päästävä pystyyn ja herättävä henkiin ;D No.. sitten kun siinä olotilassa yrittää laittautua niin ensinnäkin mun hiukset meni ihan pilalle, samoin meikki u_u No en antanut sen velä lannistaa ja lähdin jo ajoissa keskustaan. Sitten kun astuin ulos niin hiukset vaan paheni siitä...:D Näin ensin Sannia ja Lilliä, käytiin d'wokkeleimassa ja Tanjakin liittyi seuraan ^-^ Sen jälkeen epätoivoisesti yritin saada mun hiuksia kuntoon tennarin vessassa, jonka jälkeen suunnattiin tapaamispaikalle~ Otettiin siinä vielä ennen itse miittin menoa asukuvat ^o^

Ensin otettiin Sannin ja Lillin kaa ^-^ Näistä ei kyllä tullut ihan sellasia kun oltais haluttu niin otettiin myöhemmin vielä uudestaan :D Haha siis ku tässä on kaikkee ihme kylpykuvia ja sit toi kamelikuva hahah! Yritin nopeesti asettuu siihen kuvaan hyvin ja sit hyppäsinkin vaan tollee ilkeesti kamelin kaulan päälle ;_; Koristeluaikakin loppui kesken, joten noi kaks viimeistä ei oo ihan niin blingbling~



Seuraavaksi otin kuvia Sinin, Emmiksen, Pinin, Tiian, Katrinin, Viivin ja Sarin kanssa (^_^) Haha toi oikeanpuoleinen kuva alhaalla.. Siinä oli idea et kaikki katsoo jonnekkin muualle.. noh kaikki kattelee ylös ja mä sit alas...:'''D Hyvä minä!



Ja vielä viimeiset purit with Sanni, Tanja & Lilli! Joista tuli hieman onnistuneempia kuin ekoista XD..

Sen jälkeen mentiin kaupan kautta puistoilemaan. Sanni joutui lähteen silloin ja muutenkin porukka alkoi kadota. Munkin olis pitänyt lähtee niin olisin säästynyt kammottavalta kokemukselta.. XD Eli kun käveltiin tonne puistoon tohon paikalle istumaan niin astuin koiranpaskaan! hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaahhahhhahaa X'DDDD Se oikein kruunas tämän mun epäonnisen päivän :DDDDD Onneks mulla oli sentään ne sandaalit ettei Dearyn korkkarit tullut kakkaiseksi :D Ja onneks oli vaihtokengät! Siinä sitten naurettiin ihan sikana Lillin kanssa ja hinkkasin sitä toista kenkää ruohoon ja pyyhin paperilla ... :'D Nojoo mutta sitten kun tästä koettelemuksesta selvittiin niin jatkettiin vaan kauheesti nauramista, en ees muista mille kaikelle naurettiin :D

Tässä pari kuvaa puistosta, joissa meitä näkyy vähän taustalla. Hajosin vähän kun näin nää kuvat, kun vaan Lillin kaa nauraa röhötetään tuolla :DDD Ei kyllä enää sille koirankakalle kun tossa oltiin jo vaihdettu paikkaa, kun ei haluttu istuu siinä lähellä mihin hinkkasin sitä kenkää..XD

Nojoo puistosta ei olekaan enempää kuvia musta ja muutenkin tän miitin kuvasaldo jäi aika pieneksi, koska ei tehnyt kauheesti mieli kuvata itseeni kun en ollut oikein tyytyväinen olemukseeni sinä päivänä :D Fanni otti kyllä musta ja Lillistä vielä kuvan kun oltiin lähdössä mut mulla ei nyt ainakaa vielä sitä oo, ja veikkaan kyl ettei sekään mun osalta oikein onnistunut~ Lisäksi palelin loppupäivästä ihan kamalasti tuolla puistossa, jonka takia mulla nytkin tällä hetkellä on kurkku kipeänä ja nenä vuotaa. Ainiin ja sitten nää yhdet hullut, tossa lähistöllä tuli esittelemään mulkkujansa ja heitteli meitä pullolla.. Se tuli ihan mun ja Lillin vierestä, kumma ettei osunut mun päähän... O.O

Jup~ Sit tosiaan lähdettiin Lillin kaa seitsemän maissa ja olin kyllä iloinen kun pääsin vihdoin kotiin syömään jäätelöä ja kakkua pikkuveljen synttäreiden kunniaksi ..XD

Niin niin , ettei tästä nyt ihan huonoa fiilistä jäänyt kaiken valituksen jälkeen, niin sanon nyt vielä kerran että meetup oli great ja odota innolla seuraavaa (*^u^*)♥ Tosin vähän epäilyttää et ehdinkö seuraavaan kun ensi kuussa on noi kirjoitukset.. Että wink wink, jotka päätätte sen seuraavan miitin päivämäärän niin yrittäkää ottaa huomioon et joillakin on ihan kohta yo-kirjoitukset :D No mut toivotaan että ens meetup onnistuu munkin osalta vähän paremmin.. :D
